The Israeli Supreme Court has rejected an appeal by accused pedophile Malka Leifer against a ruling that she is fit to face an extradition trial.


The Israeli Supreme Court has rejected an appeal heard in July regarding accused child sex offender Malka Leifer's mental fitness to stand trial.

The unanimous decision delivered by the court on Wednesday renders her fit to continue to face her extradition trial, which is pending a ruling.

Ms Leifer is wanted in Australia for 74 charges of rape and child abuse from her time as principal at Melbourne's Adass Israel School.
