According to CEC Australia, 17 per cent of electric power generated from renewable energy. It is smaller number, compare with thermal power plant method (83 per cent), however Australia government is planned to make more renewable energy power plant across the Australia.

Australia federal government announced Renewable Energy Target (RET) plan at 2001. RET target rate of renewable energy in Australia is 20 per cent until 2020.

Incentive to the customer is decreasing, but solar panel price is slightly decreasing, so it can be predict that, more home and small business owner may consider to install solar panel in their own places.
