Trump was posing with a group of South Korean school children to promote the 'Girls Play 2!' campaign at the US embassy in Seoul when one noticed a member of the boy band Shinee standing behind her.
The young girl excitedly turned to her friend, tapped her on the arm and pointed to Choi Min-ho before squealing with joy in his presence.
The 25-year-old pop star grinned and waved, taking the spotlight with grace.
Social media users revelled in the mother-of-one's genuine show of emotion. She has previously been criticised for her stony-faced glare at public appearances.
