호주 프로 축구 현대 A 리그의 멜번 빅토리가 한국의 풀백 최준재 선수를 구단으로 불러 2주간 시범 훈련에 투입함에 따라 한국 선수 영입의 가능성이 기대되고 있다. As Melbourne Victory has invited South Korean fullback Choi Jun Jae to train with the club for the next fortnight, there is a chance for a Korean player to join Hyundai A-league.

Melbourne Victory announced on 12 July that they have invited Choi Jun Jae to train with them a couple of weeks. The 23-year-old, who has represented South Korea at junior age levels for many times, is currently uncontracted after graduating from Jungwon University, where he played in the U-League.

It seems like his unattached status has attracted the club which has been monitoring Choi.

Weve studied that market a little bit and its difficult to get players out of Asia once they commit to a club because they put them on long-term deals. Kevin Muscat, head coach of Melbourne Victory said.

Were just having a look at him and giving him that experience, but at the same time weve still got an opportunity to sign a couple of foreigners so well see what happens, Muscat also mentioned.
