Min-Jae Kim nicknamed as "Monster" is attracting interests from English Premier team, Watford but he's reported to be in final stages of negotiation with the Chinese club, Beijing Guoan. Korean fans are furious as he is portrayed as chasing the big Chinese money instead of chasing the dream of playing in European football.

At the same time, his former manager, Kang-Hee Choi is in trouble shortly after he was appointed as a manager for Tianjin Quanjin. Quanjin Group went into trouble after it was found to false-advertise its products.[
