A former world No.1 amateur Su-hyun Oh will be donning the Australian uniform at the Rio Olympics for golf along with her compatriot Minjee Lee, and Scott Hend and Marcus Fraser.


When Su Oh arrived in Australia aged eight from Korea she had never played golf before but then started in her new country.

 

Now she is rapidly beginning to fulfill the potential good judges have tagged her with for years. In the midst of a breakout rookie season on the LPGA Tour,

 

Oh has served notice shell be a future force on the worlds biggest stage.

 

Oh didnt win an LPGA Tour card at her first attempt in 2014, but soon made her professional mark against some of the worlds leading pros to win the LET co-sanctioned Australian Ladies Masters in 2015.

 

She played between Europe and the Symetra Tour in 2015, then won partial rights to the main US tour at Q-school at years end and has made the most of that opportunity since.

 

Her professional career could not be reviewed without her father Mr Suk-goo Oh who has been her coach and caddy since she started playing golf.
