The Australian mentioned that industry collaboration is most common among universities in South Korea and China where research quality and international connectivity are often low. On the other hand, it is least common in places such as Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore, where research quality and international connectivity tend to be high.

In South Korea, there is extraordinary connectivity between local industry and universities such as the Pohang University of Science and Technology, Sungkyunkwan University and Seoul National University. The Australian reported.
