A recently published book titled “Funeral Rites in Contemporary Korea: The Business of Death” by Gil-Soo Han, Associate Professor at the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash University, explores 21st century Korean society based on its dramatically transforming and rapidly expanding commercial funeral industry.
