International students who are willing to study in Western Australia could have a good opportunity to get a permanent visa with the new graduate stream under the state nominated visa (subclass 190 or 489).
Western Australia has rolled out a new pathway to permanent residency for international students.
Additional requirements include having gained a higher education qualification in Western Australia, including at least two years of full time study in Western Australia at a Western Australian university.
International students will also need a full-time job offer and ‘proficient English’ to be eligible under this graduate stream.
