Concerns over cyberbullying and students potentially distracted by their phones have sparked a review into the use of smart phones in New South Wales schools.
As technology continues to creep into everyday life, fears are being raised over how smart phones affect school students.
New South Wales has decided it is time for a statewide review looking into the use -- and potential misuse -- of the phones.
Child psychologist Michael Carr-Gregg will lead the review, in consultation with cyber-safety analysts.
The state government says the Australian-first review will hopefully help develop guidelines around the technology.
