Newcastle Korean Language School(Principal S. O. Ohr) is a community language school for Korean adoptees and their families. It has been raising the awareness of Korea through a variety of cultural activities and an annual family camp in May every year since its opening in 2000.

In particular, its students have been visiting the homeland every three years and they visited Mt Baekdu and Dokdo.

The 16th Family Camp of Newcastle Korean Language School for Korean adoptees and their parents were joined by the students of the SKCLS, another Korean culture and language school for Korean adoptees in Sydney, enhancing the significance and enthusiasm of the occasion.
