On 1st April, the Korean police posted an open letter to the rape victim, Airdre Mattner on their Facebook page but a controversy arose over again.

Airdre Mattner said on Korea FM, I felt harassed and unsafe because of the amount of information they had released that I had never previously released myself to anyone, anywhere. And I had not given them permission for this information to be made public, either. And Im not going to engage in the public standoff that they seem to be looking for.
