Samsung Electronics Australia on 16 June, launched the companys mobile payment service, Samsung Pay.


Samsung Electronics Australia on 16 June, launched the companys mobile payment service, Samsung Pay.

Samsung Pay will be available starting this week on compatible Samsung smartphones including the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The arrival of Samsung Pay in Australia follows launches in South Korea, the United States, China and Spain.

At launch, Samsung Pay partners in Australia will be American Express and Citibank.

Samsung Pay is strategically expanding its partnership ecosystem to provide greater flexibility, access and choice for our customers, said Elle Kim, Global Vice President, Samsung Pay, Mobile Communications Business.
