Can FIFA Club World Cup be successful although the winner seems to be obvious already?


Soccer TONG is a sports segment that proves how everything leads to soccer. In this episode, SBS Korean’s soccer reporter Jun Lee reports that the European Club Association declared a boycott against FIFA’s Club World Cup in 2021.

FIFA is pushing for a 24-team Club World Cup to be held at 2021, incorporating teams from all continents.

However, they are experiencing massive resistance from the European Club Association (ECA).

It is proposed to hold the Club World Cup during a time when players need a rest after their season.

After hearing news about potential European Super League, It is worried that FIFA is focused on money-making business and ultimately we will see where the rich get rich and poor get poor.
