In November 2018, Football Leaks in conjunction with Der Spiegel in Germany claimed, that there had been undercover talks about the creation of a new continental club competition, the European Super League, from 2021.I also revealed that both Manchester City and Paris Sanit-Germain have been violating Union of European Football Association, UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules and UEFA overlooked the offenses.
