Arsenal's German midfielder Mesut Ozil reportedly invited controversial Turkish President Recep Erdogan to his wedding.


Arsenal's German midfielder Mesut Ozil reportedly invited controversial Turkish President Recep Erdogan to his wedding.

The player with Turkish heritage was kicked out of the German national team in the Russian World Cup due to his close relationship with the Turkish president.

President Erdogan has been widely criticised for ruling in an increasingly authoritarian fashion.
