Meanwhile, South Korea and China are having an Asian Cup last 16 knockout round on Jan 17, Chinese media show strong confidence in their superstar Wu Lei.

Soccer TONG is a sports segment that proves how everything leads to soccer. In this episode, SBS Korean’s soccer reporter Jun Lee analyses 2019 AFC Asian Cup.

Australia has a tough to knock-out stage if they progress through. If Australia becomes 2nd in Group B, Australia has a chance to meet 2nd place of Group F, which could be Japan or Uzbekistan. If Australia becomes 3rd in Group B, Australia has 60 % chance of drawing Korea Republic if they beat China and become the 1st place in Group C.

If Korea Republic beats China and places themselves in 1st position in Group C, they have 60% chance of meeting Australia or Syria in Round of 16, 20% chance of meeting Oman or Turkmenistan and 20 % chance of meeting Bahrain. If the Korea Republic draws or loses to China, they meet Thailand in Round of 16, but they have a high chance of meeting Iran and Japan or Uzbekistan in the knockout stage, depending on how far they can reach.

Meanwhile, South Korea and China are having an Asian Cup last 16 knockout round on Jan 17, Chinese media show strong confidence in their superstar Wu Lei. Some Chinese press mentioned Wu Lei rules the world when Son Heung-min is not there.
