SBS Korean program’s soccer reporter Jun Lee analyses how South Korea defeated Vietnam in the Asian Game’s semi-final.

Soccer TONG is a sports segment that proves how everything leads to soccer. In this episode, SBS Korean’s soccer reporter Jun Lee analyses the quarter-final of the Asian Games football tournament in Indonesia just right after the game.

As South Korea beats Vietnam 3:1 to advance to the final Son Heung-min’s chances of avoiding compulsory military service is only one step away.

Vietnam led by a Korean coach Park Hang-seo successfully reached to the semi-final for the first time in its history. The team fought hard until the last time but they weren’t physically perfect as a result of the tight tournament schedule, and the dream of going forward to the final was shattered by the South Korean squad who strongly determined to win the gold medal.

The Taegeuk Warriors will now face Japan on Saturday, September 1 and Vietnam will go for the bronze medal against UAE.
