While Daegu FC made the first appearance in Asian Champions League competition in the match with Melbourne Victory in Melbourne, Sydney FC meets Ulsan Hyundai in Sydney tomorrow.

SBS Korean program’s soccer reporter Jun Lee provide match prediction of the 2019 Asian Champions League competition.

Daegu FC faces Melbourne Victory in Melbourne. It's Daegu FC's first appearance in Asian Champions League competition and will go through a tough away journey from Daegu to Melbourne.

Gyeongnam FC meets Shandong Luneng in their first historic match in Asian Champions League 2019.

Gyeongnam will face high name-valued players such as Fellaini who used to play in Manchester United, Pelle, a former Italian National Team player and Hao Junmin, who plays for Chinese National Team.

However, Gyeongnam FC is showing a great form, and in my opinion, Gyeongnam FC will get a tough victory against Shandon Luneng in Changwon, South Korea.

Sydney FC faces Ulsan Hyundai in Sydney. Ulsan Hyundai faces fatigue problem from flying a long-journey to Sydney straight after their game on Friday last week. Also, considering it was their first game of the season, it will be a tough game for Ulsan. However, Ulsan has a strong team with Korean National Team players as well as quality foreign players in their squad. This will make a tough game for Sydney as their recent form is not impressive. Hence, Jun Lee expects a draw.

Jeonbuk Hyundai faces Beijing Guoan in Jeonbuk. Kim Min-Jae, a promising defender in Korea, returns to his home team. He was criticised for choosing Chinese money over European dream after he moved to China at such a young age.

However, as people saw in his game last week, he is a quality defender, and Jeonbuk will have a tough time against their former teammate, Kim Min-Jae. Beijing will have two new players of Chinese-descent and quality foreign players. This will provide a significant challenge to Jeonbuk Hyundai, and hence, Jun Lee is expecting a tough win for Beijing Guoan against Jeonbuk.
