Political commentator JY Suh analyses the presidential scandal in Korea as well as the formal UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon's return to Korea.


Special prosecutor investigating presidential corruption scandal in Korea questioned Samsung Group vice president Jay Y Lee for more than 22 hours on bribery suspicions. Although Lee has insisted that his is only a victim of the scandal but Lee was named as a suspect.

 

Meanwhile, the formal UN chief Ban Ki-moon returned to his home country South Korea on 12th Jan. He has not officially announced his run for the presidential election yet but he hints at the bid.
