Some of Korean media including Asian Economy, Daily Economy, Beta news report that the Korean manufacture Ssangyong re-enters to Australian market in November, 2018.
Ssangyong used to sell their cars in Australia through independent distributors such as Ateco Automotive, but after two years of absence in the southern market, it launches its own factory distributor.
Although Ssangyong’s cars have been selling over 127 countries, it is known to be the first time for the car manufacturer to launch its own factory distributor in the foreign country.
Ssangyoung has confirmed Tivoli, XLV, Rexton and Musso have lined-up.
Many car specialised media including Car Advice points out that as the SUV market in Australia is very competitive, it wouldn’t be easy for Ssangyoung to crack at the vehicle market.
