State of emergency declared for next seven days in NSW

With the mercury set to soar in NSW, the state is facing dangerous fire conditions as firefighters worked overnight to contain almost 100 blazes.


NSW has declared the second state of emergency this fire season.

The NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian made the announcement on Thursday morning, saying it would be for seven days.
