Successful rate of National exam for pharmacist in Korea. 43.5% for graduates from AU

Ministry of Health and Welfare in South Korea released the report about the ratio of successful applicants of National examination to be an enrolled pharmacist in South Korea. The successful rate for the USA graduates was 55.7% while the successful rate for the Australia graduates was 43.8% in South Korea.


Ministry of Health and Welfare in South Korea released the report about the ratio of successful applicants of National examination to be an enrolled pharmacist in South Korea. The successful rate varied by the graduates who studied pharmacy in overseas University.

There were total 523 applicants for this exam who studied pharmacy in different countries from 2008 to 2016.

Applicants who study in Philippine was the largest part with 180 applicants but successful rate was relative low with 7.8%. Only 14 applicants who studied pharmacy in Philippine passed this exam.

However, the successful rate for the applicants from USA and Australia was relatively high. The successful rate for the USA graduates was 55.7% while the successful rate for the Australia graduates was 43.8% in South Korea.
