Today Young Kim, ATO’s employee with Korean background joins SBS radio studio to explain about Taxpayers’ Charter: your rights and obligations.

The Taxpayers’ Charter is important because it clearly outlines what your rights and responsibilities are when dealing with the ATO.

It helps you understand what you need to do and also what you can expect from us when you or your chosen representative deals with ATO.

It has information on what to do if you want to question an action or decision we have made.

ATO recently updated the charter to ensure it stays relevant now and into the future.

You can find the Taxpayers’ Charter on ato.gov.au/charter
