Tens of thousands of union workers have marched through the streets of Melbourne demanding better pay and working conditions.

More than 60-thousand people snaked through the streets of Melbourne as part of the "Change the Rules" campaign-- a national movement calling for a complete overhaul of Australia’s workplace laws.

Unions groups have slammed the government's announced tax offsets for lower and middle income workers, comparing them to "crumbs".

The unions are also calling for a 50 dollar-per-week increase to the minimum wage.
