The fixtures for the first two weeks of the 2015-2016 A-League finals have been confirmed after one of the tightest top six races in the league's history came to an end - with all finals series matches broadcast on SBS 2 and streamed on The World Game.
Adelaide United claimed the A-League 2015-2016 Premiers' Plate and secured a place in the AFC Champions League after Brisbane Roar failed to beat Melbourne Victory on Saturday.
Adelaide and Western Sydney Wanderers have now booked a week off after finishing first and second respectively.
Week one of the A-League elimination finals will see Brisbane Roar (3rd) host Melbourne Victory (6th) on Friday (15 April) and Melbourne City (4th) go head to head with Perth Glory (5th) on Sunday (17 April).
Football Federation Australia (FFA) chief executive officer David Gallop paid tribute to Adelaide for the achievement.
"To go from last place in Round 8 to winning the Premiers' Plate in Round 27 is an amazing accomplishment in any competition," he said.
"I know that I speak for many who are now looking forward to a fantastic A-League 2016 Finals Series to see who will be crowned champions."
