Co-organised by the Australia-Korea Business Council and the Federation of Korean Industries, the 40th AKBC-KABC Joint Meeting was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney on 12 and 13 November 2019.
The joint meeting brought together industry leaders and entities to celebrate its 40th anniversary and to chart a new course in the Australia-Korea bilateral relationship.
Around 150 people - government officials, leaders of the Korean community and business representatives- attended the event.
Guests at joint meeting included Hon Simon Crean, Chair of the Australia-Korea Business Council, Jeong-Woo Choi, CEO at POSCO, Dr Alan Finkel, Australia’s Chief Scientist, Jaedo Moon, Chairman at H2KOREA, Hon Mark Coulton MP, Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, HE James Choi, Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea and HE BaekSoon Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Australia.
