SBS Viceland will screen The Good Doctor from South Korea, the original series which inspired the hit US adaptation.
The Good Doctor is a human drama about a paediatric surgeons’ love and his endeavours to save lives. Set in a University Medical Centre, this is the story of Park Si- On, an autistic young man with savant syndrome. He becomes a paediatric surgical specialist, and on top of adjusting to his new role, he must overcome social prejudice.
The drama is available at 10:25PM Tuesday 12 June 2018 on SBS Viceland channel.
10 of 20 episodes will be available on SBS on demand from June 12 in Korean with English Subtitles. Episodes 11-20 will be available on the 17th of July.
The hit US show of the same name is based on this warm-hearted and fun series.
