The Sydney Mornging Hearald has highlighted that Malcolm Turnbull should demonstrate his courage to move on his initiatives in fair budget repair and economic reform.
The paper has argued that the Labor caucus' decision to block two workplace bills outright is a bad start.

The government now has a clear mandate for most of them, especially the building watchdog and union governance bills that forced the double dissolution. With sensible amendments, they should be passed.
Likewise, the paper has emphasised that it believes Labor should back the government's savings that are included in the Omnibus Bill.
This parliament will be useless if Mr Shorten adopts an oppose-everything stance.
If Mr Turnbull could negotiate passage of most of the outstanding bills, he could then focus on the real problems of fair budget repair and economic reform.
