Business News Western Australia introduced the story of Tommy Shin, Korean Australian who developed App for homeless youth.

This week, Business News Western Australia introduced the story of Tommy Shin, Korean Australian CEO of Lateral who developed App for homeless youth.

Custom software and mobile app developer Lateral has entered into a partnership with St Vincent de Paul Society (WA) and developed the Passages app for homeless youth. They are also committed to assist youth experiencing homelessness to receive skills training and other assistance to find employment. The App will allow those homeless between 12 and 25 years of age to conveniently and safely access support centre opening hours, food availability and community support, among other services

Lateral CEO, Mr Tommy Shin, said, If we can assist even one youth experiencing homelessness and provide them with an opportunity to access services that will help them transition to a life out of homelessness, then we hope this will cause a domino effect to inspire others to help,.
