U-S president Barack Obama has signed legislation imposing new sanctions on North Korea.
The legislation was approved by congress earlier this month after North Korea refused to stop its nuclear weapons program. The expanded sanctions are designed to deny North Korea the money it needs to develop minaturised nuclear weapons and delivery systems for them.
