Victoria announces record 723 new coronavirus cases and 13 deaths

The number of new cases announced on Thursday beat the previous record set earlier this week by nearly 200.


Victoria has recorded another 723 coronavirus cases, smashing the previous highest daily increase in infections in Australia by nearly 200.

Premier Daniel Andrews also announced on Thursday morning there had been another 13 coronavirus-related deaths.
