Some parents sending their children to family day cares in Sydney area might have heard the rumor that a young male teacher has done something inappropriate to children in a day care center.
The Ch9 reports that 21-year-old violin tutor is accused of indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl during a music lesson in a daycare center in Denistone East.
Oscar Jinhyuk Ahn who has a scholarship with the Conservatorium of Music faced Parramatta Bail Court via video link on May 26, 2018 charged with 20 offense relating to several months of alleged abuse of the child.
The teacher allegedly rubbed his groin on the six-year-old's bottom and leg during the lessons from late last year until when the girl stopped attending the centre.
According to court documents, It was found out when the girl and her parents spotted the tutor while they were shopping at Costco in Lidcombe.
The girl drew back in fear and told her parents "he touched me".
The next morning, the accused tutor sent the girl's father a message saying:
"Yes I did touch [the girl]".
He also sent this message: “I am very sorry about what has happened and what I did to [the girl]. I didn’t think about how a child would feel.”
He then handed himself into a police station.
