What President Moon aims for in the KOR-USA Summit?

American university student Otto Wambiers tragic death has increased uncertainty about how the KOR-US meeting next week might go.


While US and North Koreas relation have been worsen as a result of the death of American university student Otto Wambier who had detained in North Korea for seventeen months, a South Korea-US summit between newly elected President Moon Jae-in and President Trump and scheduled next week in Washington D.C.

 

Many in Washington and Seoul are concerned that tensions might emerge between the United States and South Korea during the upcoming summit between the two leaders.
