The right support can make a life-changing difference to those who live with dementia and their carers - but some families and carers have been reluctant to reach out.


The number of people living with dementia in Australia is rising, with an estimated 250 people developing the disease each day.

It's the second-highest cause of death in Australians, and the leading cause of death among Australian women.

There's no cure yet known for dementia.

The right support can make a life-changing difference to those who are diagnosed and their carers - but some families and carers have been reluctant to reach out.
