Why three in four requests to leave Australia are being refused

The Federal Government faces growing pressure to relax its overseas travel guidelines, as new data shows three in four requests to leave are rejected.


The Australian Border Force has received almost 92,000 requests. 

Just over 22,000 of those were granted between March & July.

Three out of four requests to leave the country have been rejected.
