21일 발표된 뉴스폴 설문조사 결과 자유당 연립의 1순위 지지율은 35%로 떨어진 반면 노동당은 38%로 상승했다.
이번에 나타난 노동당의 우선순위 지지율은 올해들어 최고치며, 이같은 지지율이 차기 총선에서 100% 반영된다면 노동당은 하원에서 20석을 추가할 수 있는 추세다.
양당 구도하의 지지율에서도 자유당 연립은 46%, 노동당은 54%를 기록해 양당 간의 지지율 격차는 무려 8% 포인차로 벌어졌다.
