South Indian state of Kerala has released a video song with the support of the City Council of Gold Coast to encourage the Indian athletes participating in Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Jai Ho India is a bilingual song in English and Malayalam, composed and sung by prominent South Indian musicians.

CWG community ambassador and Gold Coast based Indian classical dancer Dr. Tanya Unni took the initiative to produce this song.

"Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate and Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan extended full support for this idea", Dr. Unni told SBS Malayalam.

A handful of Indian athletes and athletic team deputy chief coach Radhakrishnan Nair launched the song in the Games Village.
