Police in New South Wales have located the five-year-old girl who was taken from Carrara in Queensland on Monday afternoon.
Police confirmed that the girl was located safe and well with the man along the central coast of New South Wales, near Kempsey.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
Queensland police has thanked the media and public for the support.
The Queensland Police Service have issued an amber alert for a five-year-old girl missing from a day-care facility in Queensland since Monday afternoon.
According to Queensland Police, a man was seen taking the girl around 3.50pm Monday afternoon from a day-care facility on Birmingham Road in Carrara.
She has been put into a brown sedan before the man drove off.
Police have released the images of the girl and the man who are said to be missing.
It is said that the man and the girl are known to each other.

The girl is described as Indian in appearance, around 121 cms tall, has brown hair and brown eyes.
The man is also described as being Indian in appearance, around 180cms tall and has black hair.
