Vayalar Ramavarma has been remembered and respected as the all-rounder of Malayalam poetic and music industry. A gifted poet, Vayalar entered the Malayalam film industry with his tangible lyrics and captured the common man with play songs for KPAC. His lyrics that convey romantic concepts and victory of science over religion created a revolution in the music industry. Vayalar contributed about 2000 songs for 223 Malayalam movies since 1965, which remain evergreen in the silver screen for the years to come. Let us listen to a tribute to this great poet cum lyricist who passed away 38 years ago ….
