As July 2 is the election day in Australia, people from all walks of life are getting into the election fever. There is talk on social media and on the streets about who will emerge as the next leader of Australia.

As July 2 is the election day in Australia, people from all walks of life are getting into the election fever. There is talk on social media and on the streets about who will emerge as the next leader of Australia.


Many migrants who call Australia home today are also very involved in what is going to be an important decision about the future of Australia. SBS Malayalam speaks to migrants from Kerala about their knowledge of the voting process in Australia and their level of interest in the upcoming elections.
