Yes it is time for a lot of fun and merry making and all the kids have their eyes on Santa's gifts. But it is more important to have a safe celebration too. Safety authorities have warned that many toys do not meet the expected safety requirements and could be dangerous for children. Choking hazards, lose battery compartments, sharp edges unsafe for children and fire hazards are among some potential dangers. Paediatrician, Dr Reeshma Pattan in Queensland explains the common dangers posed to children by unsafe toys.
