As Australia is moving into the new assessment model for internationally qualified nurses and midwives, many overseas nurses are concerned about the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) which forms a part of the new Outcomes Based Assessment. Here, Dr. Alby Elias who is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist's subcommittee on OSCE explains the basic idea of the exam method.
