Emirates plane from Thiruvananthapuram crash-lands at Dubai airport

An Emirates airline flight coming from Thiruvananthapuram crash-landed at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday. No causalities have been reported yet

The Dubai government media office Twitter account that an Emirates plane crash-landed at Dubai airport, adding that there were no reported casualties yet.

The airline said 275 passengers were on board.

It confirms the incident happened at Dubai International Airport on 3rd August 2016 at about 12.45pm local time.

The United Arab Emirates English-language publication Gulf New reports all passengers are safe but SBS has not yet verified this.

SBS understands Dubai airport has been closed.
