ന്യൂ സൗത്ത് വെയിൽസിൽ മഴ കുറഞ്ഞതിനാൽ പലയിടങ്ങളിലും ജനങ്ങളോട് തിരികെ വീടുകളിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങാമെന്ന് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ചില സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം രൂക്ഷമാണെന്നും ജനങ്ങൾ ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണമെന്നും പ്രീമിയർ ഗ്ലാഡിസ് ബെറജക്ലിയൻ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരാഴ്ച നീണ്ടു നിന്ന പ്രളയത്തെത്തുടർന്ന് രണ്ട് പേർ മരിക്കുകയും നിരവധി പേരുടെ വീടുകൾക്കും മറ്റും കേടുപാടുകൾ സംഭവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
