Malta celebrates Republic Day

SBS Maltese correspondent, Leonard Callus reports on the seventeen Maltese individuals who were recognised and awarded medals for Service to the Republic of Malta. In his final address as President, Dr George Vella stated that he has been halted from continuing the process for a Convention for Constitutional changes because of lack in goodwill to reach agreement regarding the person to lead this Convention.
