Joyce Vanderboot (nee Scicluna) speaks with Joe Axiaq about her upbringing in a Maltese family in Sydney. When she married and moved to Brisbane she couldn’t find the Maltese food she grew up it. Therefore she created Maltese Foods, to be able to offer Brisbane residents authentic foods sourced directly from Malta, including a range of popular pastizzi, ravioli, galetti (biscuits), qubbajt (nougat), zalzett (sausages) and an interesting range of imported Maltese beverages.
