The first museum in Australia dedicated to Maltese culture and traditions has opened in Latrobe Valley, in Victoria. Mr Mario Sammut, the instigator and promoter of the Maltese Museum speaks with Joe Axiaq about the idea of such a project and how it evolved from another important event in Latrobe Valley, the Maltese Festa.
