President of Malta – Sette Giugno message to the Maltese in Australia

Message to the Maltese Community in Australia by the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca on the occasion of Malta's National day of Seventh of June 1919, commemorated by the Maltese Community Council of New South Wales in Civic Park, Pendle Hill. This day commemorates the events which occurred in 1919 when, following a series of riots by the Maltese population, British troops fired into the crowd, killing four people.
