Sette Giugno National Day to be commemorated in New South Wales

The President of the Maltese Community Council in New South Wales, speaks with Joe Axiaq about an event to celebrate Malta’s National Day - 7th June 1919 in front of the Maltese monument at Pendle Hill’s Civic Park. This day commemorates the events which occurred in 1919 when, following a series of riots by the Maltese population, British troops fired into the crowd, killing four Maltese men.
